Kartik Aaryan`s most awaited Freddy is about the journey of Dr. Freddy Ginwala, a shy, lonely and socially awkward person who loves playing with his miniature planes and the only friend he has is his pet turtle ‘Hardy’. Sharing about what motivated him to explore Freddy and its dark world, the actor said, “I’ve always maintained that as an actor I’m very excited to try out different genres – I want to do all kinds of films, take on different characters and constantly push myself – Freddy was a complex script and character. Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan, who essayed the role of a serial killer with a warped mind in the psychological crime thriller film `Chup: Revenge of The Artist`, has called his role in the film the most experimental one for him till date. Talking about his character, Dulquer Salmaan said: "Stepping into the shoes of the serial killer Danny has been the most experimental role till date. Veteran film actor, talk show host and YouTuber, Tabassum died on Friday night after suffering a cardiac arrest. She hosted the popular Doordarshan talk show `Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan.` Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore paid tribute to her colleague in a conversation with mid-day.com. Sharmila said, "Even though I hadn`t worked with her in films, she had interviewed me for her show a few times. I remember her as always being happy, cheerful and well dressed. She knew how to hold an audience. Those days a lot of emphasis was paid on how one speaks and her command on Urdu was commendable. I`m sad to know of her passing and my condolences to the family.
