Born on May 7, 1993, into a Parsi family, Amyra Dastur has been raised in Mumbai. She went to Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and later completed her schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. Amyra studied Arts at H.R College, Mumbai.

Amyra Dastur`s father Gulzar Dastur is a surgeon and director of Mumbai`s popular and one of the oldest hospitals - Bhatia Hospital, while her mother Delna Dastur is an advertising professional. Amyra`s sibling Jehangir Dastur is into the Hotel industry.

Amyra`s mother is her inspiration! "My mom quit her job to take care of me. She is one of the strongest women I know. She`s taken care of me and my brother and dealt with me a lot emotionally. She went back to work and started her own successful business after 21 years because both my brother and I started working," she had said in an interview with mid-day.
