Ayesha Takia studied at St Anthony`s Girls High School in Chembur. She started her career at an early age when she became part of a children`s health drink campaign. She was also seen in Falguni Pathak`s `Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye` music video. Ayesha Takia went on to act in films like Dil Maange More, Socha Na Tha, Shaadi No. 1, Dor and Wanted, among others.

Another few multi-starrers again in 2007 - Salaam-E-Ishq opposite Akshaye Khanna, Fool N Final opposite Shahid Kapoor and Cash opposite Zayed Khan. While the former was well received, the other two did not fare well.

Ayesha Takia last starred in Bollywood film Mod (2011), which received a fairly good response. She tried her hands in Television in 2012 and turned a host for the musical-reality show Sur Kshetra.

Ayesha Takia made a comeback in 2017 with the music video titled Zindagi Tujhse Kya Karen Shikvey from the album Zindagi Yeh Zindagi. The song directed by Lovely Singh, Amit Mishra had lent the voice and it was composed by Raaj Aashoo.
