Nupur Sanon has followed her more illustrious elder sister Kriti into the world of glamour with her debut appearance in B Praak's new music video Filhall, where she featured along with Akshay Kumar. Nupur talking about her sister Kriti said, "Whenever Kriti compliments me about something, she also gives me some kind of negative feedback, because she is very protective and she is also like my chhoti mummy so."

After making her Bollywood debut in 2008 with Jannat, she went on to act in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and more Hindi films. Like most Bollywood actors, she also entered the digital space last year. Sonal talking about the same said, "I won't say that the content is better on the web than Hindi films because there are some very amazing films that are being made. Now it is a very good time in the industry where there are fabulous shows being made for the web. I am happy that this is happening."
