After Bigg Boss 16, Shiv is expected to next be seen in Rohit Shetty`s adventure reality show `Khatron Ke Khiladi` where he will pull off some daredevil stunts. Thakare has been working on upping his fitness before he starts shooting.

In an exclusive interview with mid-day.com, opening up about how Salman Khan inspired him, Shiv said, "I started working on my physique after being inspired by Salman Khan. There was a time when we couldn`t get tickets for his films and now we had a chance to listen to him speak and give us advice, that`s a big thing."

Going on to speak about his idol, Shiv said, "He is a superstar but besides that he is a wonderful human being. The way he explains things off-camera he is a great person."

Speaking about how his life has changed after `Bigg Boss 16` he said, "Life has definitely changed be it on social media or otherwise. People don`t just ask for pictures but treat me like their family member."

During `Bigg Boss 16` Shiv was often seen giving his fellow contestants fitness advise. In one of the recent episodes, he was seen advising Priyanka Chahar Choudhary on how to improve her workout routine. Shiv told Priyanka not to skip the gym since she had a heavy workout session the other day.
