Nargis Fakhri`s father was from Pakistan, but he later moved to the US. Her mother is Czech. The actress, therefore, calls herself a `global citizen` because of her mixed Pakistani and Czech ethnicity. Unfortunately, the actress`s parents got divorced when she was six.

Nargis Fakhri made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 2011. She also acted in films like Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, Azhar, Housefull 3, Dishoom and Banjo. However, Nargis's career never took off in Bollywood.
