Karan Patel was born on November 23, 1983. He hails from a Gujarati family from Kolkata. However, he did his schooling and further studies from Mumbai. In 2000, Karan Patel began his acting career with the popular television show Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki. He even had a small role in the TV series Kasautii Zindagii Kay in 2005. He went on to work in serials like Kesar, Kavvyanjali, Kasamh Se, Karam Apna Apna among many others.
