In an exclusive interview with mid-day.com, Rahul shared before leaving for his much-needed vacation, "Both of us have been overworked and it’s time to take a much needed break. I just plan to switch off my phone and enjoy being off work."

Rahul Vaidya further added, "We had always planned to club our honeymoon and my birthday. Maldives is closer than any other place in the world, so it would save us travel time, which is why we agreed on the destination mutually. I just plan to sit by the beach and relax all day."
