The actress who plays Yamini in Bekaboo said, "It`s the first time that I`m attempting a fantasy-drama and that too with Ekta ma`am. There are a lot of firsts so the show is extremely special to me."

Monalisa will be seen playing a negative role on the show. "You get to display a lot of shades in a negative character and that`s what we want as actors, to always do something different. There are two eras in the show so when we are showing the 90s my look is that of Madhuri Dixit and Divya Bharti."

Speaking about `Bigg Boss` she recalled, "I never expected I would stay so long on the show. I was finalised just two days before the season went on air. I was very raw and was coming from the regional zone, I didn`t even know what clothes to carry. We weren`t exposed to social media back then."

Sharing memories of getting married on the show she said, "Vikrant and I had been living together since a long time and we finally got married there. We had been planning to get married but sometimes work commitments or money problems would come in the way."
