Also, four new CBSE Board Schools will be established in the year 2024-25. The new concept of Organic Farming (Kitchen Garden) will be implemented in 100 BMC schools to create an interest in agriculture. To enhance the quality of education of BMC school students, it is proposed to establish Innovative Mathematics and Science Centre in 25 schools of primary section on pilot basis. The BMC is making efforts to open a part of the Coastal Road from February 2024 and are determined to complete the project work by May 2024. For the Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project, the civic body has allocated a fund of Rs 1, 870 crore. Meanwhile, a total budget provision of Rs 1160.95 crores is proposed in the revised expenditure for the fiscal year 2023-24.
