The 16th edition of the IAAF Gold Label Tata Mumbai Marathon witnessed over 46,000 athletes taking over the streets of the maximum city. The Tata Mumbai Marathon was flagged off by brand ambassador and six-time world champion Mary Kom. Indian speedsters Sudha Singh and Narendra Singh Rawat won the women's and men's Indian category and successfully qualified for the IAAF World Championships to be held in Doha. The iconic Lalbaugcha Raja idol was shifted onto a raft on Sunday afternoon after delays since morning due to high tide and technical challenges, with final immersion, delayed by several hours, expected to take place around 11 pm, officials said.
