BMC said the northbound carriageway of Mumbai Coastal Road will be open for regular traffic from 7 am to 11 pm from Monday through Friday from June 11.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Sunday said that the northbound carriageway of the Mumbai Coastal Road will be inaugurated on June 10 by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The BMC said that Shinde, along with other dignitaries will be inspecting the second underground tunnel on Monday.
The BMC, which had undertaken the ambitious Mumbai Coastal Road project, said that 90 per cent of the work for the northbound carriageway has been completed and added that the route will be opened for traffic from the following. The civic body said that the northbound carriageway of Mumbai Coastal Road will be open for regular traffic from 7 am to 11 pm from Monday through Friday and that it shall remain closed for completion of the remaining work on Saturday-Sunday.
