The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has made great progress in cracking down on an interstate narcotics conspiracy by apprehending two suspects at Thane`s Kalyan railway station. The operation led to the confiscation of 3,600 Nitrazepam tablets and 270 bottles of Codeine syrup.
According to Amit Ghawate, Additional Director at NCB Mumbai, the syndicate operates in multiple states, including Maharashtra and Karnataka. The seizure was part of a coordinated effort to tackle drug trafficking, particularly ahead of the upcoming elections.
