Manoj Jarange seeks action against assaults on Marathas in Beed over LS Polls

Manoj Jarange alleged that Marathas in Beed district were being harassed for not supporting BJP`s Pankaja Munde, who lost in Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Manoj Jarange, a Maratha reservation activist, urged Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday to address assaults on Marathas who did not vote for the BJP candidate in the Beed Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Speaking on the second day of his indefinite fast in Antarwali Sarathi village, Jarange alleged that Marathas in Beed district were being harassed for not supporting BJP`s Pankaja Munde, who lost to NCP (SP) candidate Bajrang Sonawane in the recent election. He urged the home minister and the Beed superintendent of police to take immediate action against the violence, and he urged Maratha youngsters to remain peaceful and promote communal unity, reported PTI.
