Party chief gears up for state polls, aims to contest 200-225 seats

Considering a tug-of-war between the NDA allies, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will be preparing to go solo in the state Assembly elections. MNS had given NDA unconditional support for the Lok Sabha but hasn`t given any commitment for the state polls.
On Thursday, party president Raj Thackeray was given yet another five-year term in office by the party`s rank and file. Party`s former MLA Bala Nandgaonkar confirmed the preparedness for the state elections.
