Almost a month after mid-day published an article about 100-year-old freedom fighter GG Parikh, a Marine Drive resident sought our help and met Parikh at his school earlier this week.
This newspaper, in its January 7 edition, reported how Parikh, who now runs a non-profit called the Yusuf Meherally Center in Tardeo, was first arrested at the age of 18 in 1942. He was also arrested during the Emergency, and was served a notice by the Mumbai Police last year.
