The sky over Mumbai and the metropolitan region remained overcast as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest Mumbai weather update predicted that the city and surrounding areas are likely to see light to moderate rainfall. 

The weather agency predicted a "generally cloudy sky with possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers in city and suburbs" in the next 24 hours. The agency also said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34 degrees Celcius and 26 degrees Celcius respectively.
