Palghar: Murder suspect, on run since 9 months, held

A 20-year-old guy who had been eluding authorities since May of last year in connection with the murder of two people has been caught in Maharashtra`s Palghar district, according to police officials.
The incident occurred on May 17, 2023, at Shirdi Nagar, Nalasopara region, when Raunak Anjani Tiwari and Kishan Sanjay Jha, both 18, were killed, while another man, Shivam Omprakash Mishra, was injured, according to senior inspector Balasaheb Pawar of Achole police station, according to the PTI report.
The report added that the bodies of the deceased were discovered partially burned and with evidence of head injuries. The victims and Mishra were known as buddies.
