Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hosting a roadshow in Mumbai`s Ghatkopar neighbourhood, where a recent hoarding fall killed 16 people and injured many more.
Chavan expressed his dismay, noting the inconvenience caused by the tour. "In Ghatkopar, an illegal hoarding was built and permission was not given to it. More than 16 people died after the hoarding collapsed. At the very place where this incident happened PM Modi holds his roadshow. If PM Modi had been a little sensitive he would have either changed the route of his roadshow or cancelled it...People had to face so much inconvenience," Prithviraj Chavan told ANI.
