"A fire broke out in the duct of Tata Orolia Building at Palava Phase 2, Khoni, Dombivli (East). Firefighters rushed to the spot along with 2-fire vehicles," an official said

Suraj Yadav, an Assistant Fire Officer of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) who was at the spot along with Deputy Fire official and other team members confirmed that the fire has been doused and everyone at the building was safe

He said, "Using the fire fighting equipment in the building we doused the fire. It had spread through the duct area and went on till the top floor. Plastic pipe and pigeon net caught fire which has been completely doused. The fire was extinguished at around 2:30 pm. No one was injured in the said incident"
