Seven to eight residents are currently stranded on the fourth level of the Rubinissa Manzil building. Rescue activities are underway, with various instruments being employed to securely extract the trapped individuals. The MFB has issued a Level I call, activating multiple emergency services.

At 11.06 am, the MFB issued a Level I call, activating services such as the police, 108 Ambulance, and Ward personnel. There are four fire engines, one quick response vehicle, one rescue vehicle, and a turntable ladder on site to assist in the rescue operations.

Dr Rashmee of Bhatia Hospital reported that four people were hurt in the incident. Unfortunately, one woman, aged approximately 70, has been confirmed deceased. The remaining three injured individuals are currently being treated at the hospital.

The BMC stated that by 12.50 pm, 13 persons, including six women and one child, were rescued by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. Three individuals, Atul Shaha (55), Nikesh Shaha (26), and Vijay Anand (25), have been admitted to Bhatia Hospital for treatment.

Due to waterlogging, traffic near Sheetal Cinema and Kale Marg in Kurla was diverted. Similarly, traffic on the Aarey route in Goregaon East was redirected via Seepz-Marol Maroshi-JVLR. The Andheri subway was temporarily shut for vehicles, and traffic was diverted to S V Road.
