Central Railway has announced the cancellation of 72 mail-express trains and 930 suburban trains, affecting both the mainline and harbour corridors. CR plans to cancel a total of 930 suburban train services, with 161 on Friday, 534 on Saturday, and 235 on Sunday, at CSMT and Thane stations.

Additionally, alternative transportation options such as additional bus services provided by organizations like Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) and Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) are encouraged.
