Tope also said that the state government is left with 2.75 lakh vaccine doses which will be used for 45 years and above group now. "Administering the second dose is our priority," he said. Mumbai on Tuesday reported 1,717 new coronavirus infections and 51 fatalities, thus taking its caseload to 6,79,986 and death toll to 13,942. According to BMC, there are 81 active containment zones in slums and chawls and 479 buildings have been sealed after coronavirus patients were found there.
