During an electoral rally in Motihari, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of seeking to impose "Taliban rule" in India. He made these remarks in support of Radha Mohan Singh, the BJP contender for the East Champaran Lok Sabha constituency.
Adityanath claimed that such a system will deprive daughters of education, restrict women`s access to markets, and force them to wear burqas. He further said that the INDI alliance`s manifesto contained a provision permitting Muslims to consume beef, which would enrage Hindus who revere the cow, reported ANI.
