Mann`s visit to the Golden Temple marked the launch of `The Hope Initiative` by Amritsar`s police force, a determined effort to combat the drug menace that has affected the state for years. The participating schoolchildren, dressed in yellow turbans, scarves, and dupattas, joined CM Mann in this solemn and meaningful prayer.

Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, has historically served as a source of inspiration for various noble causes. The purpose of this particular `ardas` was to seek the blessings of the Almighty for the success of a unique mission – the mission to eradicate the scourge of drugs from Punjab.
