Cyclone Biparjoy has rapidly intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm and is traversing the Arabian Sea at present. However, there is a possibility of the intensity of Cyclone Biparjoy decreasing once it crosses the coast, informed IMD Ahmedabad Head Manorama Mohanty.
