Ravindra Jadeja breaks Ravichandran Ashwin`s record of fewest overs by an Indian bowler in a Test seven-for The lanky all-rounder Jadeja wreaked havoc on the Australian top-order, producing a magnificent spell in 12.1 overs. In the process, he has broken compatriot Ashwin’s record for the fewest overs bowled by an Indian in seven-for in a Test innings. Ashwin, on the other hand, bowled 13.5 overs in his spell of 7-59 against Kiwis in 2016, while Jadeja surpassed him with a seven-for in 12.1 overs.

Even though he could not manage a big score in his home match, Kohli went past the legendary Sachin Tendulkar after he completed 25,000 runs in international circuit, becoming the fastest player to do so. Kohli, meanwhile, achieved this feat in 549th innings, while Tendulkar did so in 577th innings.
