In the recent T20I series against Australia, Rinku showcased his exceptional skills by finishing the game in India`s favour. He played a pivotal role in the Suryakumar-led Indian side`s campaign against Australia. The left-hander is also considered as a contender for India`s 2024 T20 World Cup squad
