Batting first in the match, Kolkata Knight Riders kept losing quick wickets except for Phil Salt who smashed 48 runs in just 14 deliveries. Later, captain Shreyas Iyer stood strong and scored crucial fifty runs. Followed by Rinku Singh, Andre Russell and Ramandeep Singh`s knocks who helped the hosts reach a total of 222 runs for the loss of six wickets
