Day 1
Ace shooter Manu Bhaker qualified for the finals of the women`s 10m air pistol event. Harmeet Desai made it to the second round of the men`s table tennis singles. Lakshya Sen registered his first win in the men`s badminton singles group stage match. The Indian men`s hockey team also won their first pool match. Along with Sen, the star duo, Satwaiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also registered a win in the men`s doubles group match.
