After facing the wrath of the #CoronaVirus pandemic in #2020, #Mumbai hoped 2021 would bring better tidings. It was nothing like what the city wished it to be though, as #Mumbai witnessed a slew of disasters while it was in the midst of a devastating second wave of #Covid19. We look back at the tragedies in 2021, and how they wrecked Mumbai.

The warship INS Kochi arrived in Mumbai on 19th May with 125 workmen rescued from barge P305, an accommodation barge that sank amid the Cyclone Tauktae fury. Of the 273 people on the ill-fated barge, 184 have been rescued so far by the Indian Navy. Watch this video to see INS Kochi bring back 125 rescuees to Mumbai.
