In an inadvertent mishap, Indian Army’s Mini UAV drifted towards Pakistan territory on August 23. The drone got diverted towards Pakistan’s Nikial Sector due to a technical glitch, as per Indian Army. Indian Army citing media inputs said that the UAV had been recovered by the Pakistani troops in the area. Meanwhile, a hotline message has been sent to the Pakistan Army to return the said drone. Andhra Pradesh rains have created a ruckus in the state. On September 1, heavy rain hit Andhra Pradesh hard, causing severe flooding and landslides. In Vijayawada, the rain was so heavy that it flooded homes and cars. National and state disaster relief teams quickly arrived to help, moving affected residents to safer areas. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited the worst-hit areas to oversee the response. So far, around 80 people have been rescued, and many residents from low-lying regions have been relocated. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the next five days, predicting thunderstorms and lightning, especially in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
