Hollywood star Gerard Butler and Ali Fazal-starrer action-thriller `Kandahar` premiered in India on Prime Video on June 16. `Kandahar` is loosely based on true events from the life of a former military intelligence officer. It features Gerard Butler and Navid Negahban in key roles as a freelance undercover operative working with the CIA-translator duo on the run after exposing a covert operation. Mirzapur actor Ali Fazal who has also starred in several Hollywood movies plays a Pakistani agent in this film. To celebrate the Indian premier, Prime Video hosted a star-studded special screening of Kandahar, with several prominent celebs and Fazal`s ex co-stars in attendance
