Upon her release from jail, K Kavitha had said, "I will absolutely take the battle forward", signalling her intention to continue challenging the charges against her.

Addressing her followers outside the prison, Kavitha stated that the BRS and KCR teams, commanded by her father K Chandrashekar Rao, were "unbreakable."
