PM Modi is on his Austria visit currently. He received a ceremonial welcome at the Federal Chancellery in Vienna, Austria, on July 10. Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer welcomed PM Modi, marking 75 years of diplomatic ties between both nations. This visit is significant as it`s the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 41 years since Indira Gandhi`s visit in 1983. PM Modi and Chancellor Nehammer held official talks, emphasizing bilateral cooperation and shared interests. Austria`s Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg also greeted PM Modi warmly upon his arrival, underscoring the strengthening of relations between India and Austria.
