India’s dream to lift an ICC title remains intact as it lost the 2023 World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia on June 11. India lost the second edition of the WTC by a huge margin of 210 runs failing to chase 444 runs in the fourth innings. Fans were very much disappointed with the team’s performance in ovals. 

Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner to India, Sarah Storey attended the screening of World Test Championship (WTC) Final at the Australian High Commission in Delhi on June 09. Speaking to the media, she said that the WTC final is showing excellent competition. She said, “The World Test Championship Final is showing us excellent competition. We have top-tier teams playing each other.”
